I would like to see Non-Euclidean Geometry in the high school curriculum. I think that it is amazing and interesting to learn about the concepts of Non-Euclid. The study of Non-Euclid in high school would enhance the current curriculum. I think that a lot of students view Geometry as a proof course that is hard and boring. Non-Euclid would "spice" up the course quite a bit. Our current Ohio competencies are narrow in scope and only measure simple computation and problem solving. It is a shame that what is tested is what is taught and the Ohio competencies are driving the "game" for the time being.
