I believe the reason that we see a number of members' postings appearing multiple times in identical form is that when they return to the main discussion area, that screen is not yet updated with the latest postings. Seeing this the persons attempting to post their comments post them again to be certain that they've gotten through. If you find yourself facing a similar absence of your most recent posting in the list of those on the forum, click on the Reload Button on your browser, and it should appear. 2.) I'm a little confused as I look at the threads of the discussions posted by having to follow the sequence of postings from the bottom up at a given level to read them in the order they were sent. Can anything be done about the way in which they are displayed? 3.) Also, the opportunity to edit one's posting after it's up would be comforting to those of us like me who are hasty in spelling and who often have seconds thoughts about what they've written after it's escaped to the public. ;->
