In this talk we give results on closed sub-modules of normalizing
bimodules over semiprime rings which are extensions of results already
known for centred bimodules. In particular, there is a one-to-one
correspondece between the closed submodules of a normalizing bimodule
$M$ over a semiprime ring $R$ and the closed submodules of a
canonical torsion-free extension
$M^*$ of $M$ to a normalizing bimodule over $Q$, the symmetric Martindale
ring of quotients of $R$.

Also, we give some applications to normalizing extensions of semiprime
rings.
